Wine Tasting in a Historical Winery

The farm, which was originally a monastery, keeps the beautiful historical cellar intact. A building of great artistic impact once used for food storage, then transformed into a cellar over the centuries. Here the historical barrels are still preserved today.

Known and appreciated for the production of its red wines, the farm is located in one of the most picturesque hilly areas of “Chianti Colli Senesi” wine production. Sunny and well-exposed hills are particularly suitable for the good cultivation of grapes.

The vineyards range 360 degrees, enjoying different terroirs and different exposure. So Sangiovese, Colorino and Canaiolo find here their best expression.

The visit starts from the highest part of the farm – the vinsantaia – right under the roof as per tradition. Then, going downstairs, you will reach the level of the fermentation and aging cellar. Finally, you’ll visit the historical barrel cellar, which is now the farm’s barrique cellar.

After the visit, you will taste local wines accompanied by a typical Tuscan board.
